To conserve energy and help protect the environment, Steele-Waseca has partnered with Great River Energy to offer rebates for qualifying new ENERGY STAR ® products purchased on or after January 1, 2010. Rebates are available for central air conditioners, room/window air conditioners, air and ground source heat pumps, refrigerators, dishwashers, freezers, dehumidifiers, and clothes washers.

ENERGY STAR is a government-backed program helping businesses and individuals protect the environment through superior energy efficiency. The program partners with more than 7,000 private and public sector organizations to deliver the technical information and tools needed by organizations and consumers to choose energy-efficient solutions.
The ENERGY STAR label easily identifies products that meet or exceed energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Energy-efficient products can help families save on their energy bills, without sacrificing features, style, or comfort.
Results are already adding up. Last year alone, Americans, with the help of ENERGY STAR, saved enough energy to power 10 million homes.
Look for the ENERGY STAR label or ask your retailer to show you the ENERGY STAR products when you shop for new energy-efficient products. If all households and businesses in the U.S. bought ENERGY STAR labeled products over the next 10 years, instead of conventional new equipment, the national annual energy bill would be reduced by about $100 billion.
