Experience the wonder of Washington.  Learn abut cooperatives and our government, tour historical sites, and have fun meeting new friends from Minnesota and other participants from across the nation.  Each year Steele-Waseca Cooperative Electric sponsors an all expense paid trip to Washington DC to a qualifying candidate.   The tour is coordinated through the Minnesota Rural Electric Association (MREA). The SWCE applicant must currently be a high school sophomore or junior and a dependent of a Steele-Waseca member.   Click here for a 2010 application (PDF).  Steele-Waseca wishes to congratulate Ashley Malecha from rural Dundas for being 2010's delegate (pdf).  We are proud to have had her represent the co-op in Washington DC.
